Staff and Exec News
By: Gen Gothicfreak
There is always something going on behind the veil. So here is your sneak peek!
1) knoledgesponge has regained his title of most spam on the staff forum! Congratulations sponge! Who will get next
months?
2) There have been a few updates to the Dinah backend after the code freeze ended.
·There is now a security check for a maximum number of login attempts. Accounts will be locked after 5 failed
attempts.
·The Wiki has been updated to give a button to be pressed for the tab character to help in formatting as the 8
spaces= tab function seemed to stop working properly
·To help improve site security a new encryption method has been implimented in the database to make them harder
to crack.
3) Work has started on a new leadership training program to help new/existing users be able to better handle a
leadership posistion in the community
We feel this will help improve the overall strength of CA as a whole.
4) Progress has been made on the layout/setup of the point system. This system will tie into the windstone system to
allow you to earn points for achieving accomplishments
Other tasks are in the works to help you earn points. Details as to what the points will earn you are still in
the works.
5) ion6ix has returned to CAIS as the new c/o and has lots of plans and motivation to help turn that brigade around.
6) A general promotion guideline is in the final touches to make promotions more level across all groups. (more
information to come)
7) As always staff is busy helping move CA forward. We are having another meeting to go over some other ideas/plans
and we will have more information on that in next months issue.
8) After a poll from staff it has been decided that both General Vapor and Commander-in-Chief Enstyne are receiving
coal for Christmas
yippee… :)
can’t wait to get a fancy new accomplishment… hahahahaha… :P
