What is Project Volund?
The project has been setup to provide a central hosting platform for both personal and CyberArmy projects.
From a personal point of view…
When a new member signs up to CyberArmy they will be eligible to receive a basic LAMPP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, PERL) webhosting account. As the member ranks up there package upgrades with them and gains more features, space and bandwidth.
From a Project Collaboration point of view…
CyberArmy projects are all eligible for free Project hosting, This currently consists of a Subversion repository, an installation of Trac or Mantis and the standard LAMPP features.
Darknet
Project Volund also offers a gateway into darknet…
Darknet is a closed virtual private network unreachable from the outside world and hidden in the dark mist of regular internet (or as we like to call it, ‘normalnet’). Darknet remains literally invisible from the regular internet users as the encapsulated and encrypted traffic appears innocuous to the naked eye.

Developers
Project Volund runs a bespoke daemon (coded by Cyberarmy) to provide a myriad of account provisioning, management and authentication routines. We are currently recruiting for people with solid PERL, BASH Scripting or Ruby skills to aid in the development and constant refining of this Daemon. If you think you have something to offer or would like more information please CMS MDalby, Zerhash, XaN or Vapor.
The Future
There are a lot of plans floating around for Volund at the moment.. Some of which I have outlined below..
