Demonoid.com is a great torrent site. A torrent will not be explained not the focus of this article. But Demonoid.com is completely invite based with open registration when ever you can catch it. I have used it for a very long time, and never once had any issues. One thing they do have is great user with great shared content. It is the perfect one-stop-shop for download-able content. From audio-books to software, you may be able to find anything you want. Demonoid.com has a great search filter that never lets down.
The service is free, but using it brings up ethical issues, that I will not cover either, I am sure you have heard about all the legal qualms lately(unless you have been living under a rock).

By: Tr opt ConfCon is basically an attempt at a massive phone conference. No need for airplane tickets, or booking a hotel room. All you need is a phone. Other than proximity it will have all the allure of a real conference: talks, lols, various security groups, drinks (bring your own), etc. Starts July 25th.
